What a “Royal” boy!!! Grit was from the first litter sired by Risk, and the first litter that Purrah whelped. We fell for him and his sister, Hoolie, instantly. We knew that they were staying before their eyes even opened! This boy is the entire package. He has “bone” or “substance”, angles for days, movement, and cat-like feet.
Grit began his show career in Oklahoma. The first day in the ring, he won breed over a special!!! The 2nd week, he finished his AKC Championship!!!! With the exception of 3 points, all wins were majors!!!! This was done in a heavy line up of cattle dogs! He is undefeated in classes!!! Grit finished 2021 (with limited showing) #28th in the US of all ACD’s. He is so close to finishing his first FastCat title. Grit also passed his “H.I.C.”, Herding Instinct Certificate, at the 2021 ACDCA National Specialty.
Grit’s Grand Championship was finished as easily as his Championship. He is halfway toward his Bronze. We are hoping to get him back out someday to complete that.
Grit is personality plus. Doesn’t know a stranger and he loves everyone who will pet or feed him!!! It’s a pleasure to be loved by him. You haven’t seen the last of this boy.

We don’t have another dog that loves showing “their stuff” in front of a judge more. He wants nothing more than to make his people happy. I could go on and on about his confirmation and temperament.

I’m so excited and proud to introduce Toro. He is a Grand Champion and he is beautiful! Toro won the puppy sweepstakes at the ACD National Specialty in 2011.
Toro makes us laugh on the daily. He has a dozen nicknames. A few are “Stinker”, “Kangaroo” and “Onery”.
His favorite thing to do in the whole world is play chuck-it. He also loves going on long walks and……treats. Toro has been so valuable to our program. He’s added perfect genetic health, balance and a biddable temperament to his young. He’s 10 years old as I write this. However, he acts like a 3 year old. Healthy as a horse and going strong. We have retired this gentleman from live breedings. He is now living out retirement on our farm.
