Grit was born in the very first litter sired by our Italian stud, Risk. We held back two puppies from this litter, Hooligan and Grit-Man!!! We began showing him when he was young. He LOVED the show ring. Never a shy bone in his body. He loved the attention and he OWNED the ring. He was undefeated as a class dog and finished his AKC Championship in two short weekends. His AKC Grand Championship went just as easily. While he was showing, he was ranked in the top 10 of all AKC cattle dogs. He has nearly finished his Bronze Grand Championship.
I took Grit to the Australian Cattle Dog National Specialty where he earned his “Herding Instinct Certificate”. He also competed in Fast Cat and he is one run shy of his BCAT title. There is so much to love about Grit.
